Today, we drive through the rain from Ottawa to Quebec City. It was a good day to not be walking around Old Quebec, but those huge trucks can really kick up done spray on the TransCanada! The kids enjoyed their first movie in the van:)
We stopped in Alexandria for lunch at a little diner, and our hostess recommended that we walk across the street and visit the local glass making studio. Was it ever cool! The artists were very gracious and answered all of our questions. Such beautiful work!
We began our East Coast adventure with a stop in Nepean to hang out with Terry Lynn, Derek, Zac and Brett. We got to watch Brett play an awesome game of baseball, and then we headed back to their place and enjoyed a meal and some playtime with Timmy. We miss Molly, and Timmy hugs helped:)
Tomorrow we are off to Quebec City!

After months of planning and plotting our way across to the East Coast, we are finally ready to get on the road tomorrow!
Molly is heading for her own staycation with Nanny and Grampa. Our first stop will be in our nation’s capital, where we’ll visit with our friends Terry Lynn, Derek, Zac, and Brett.
Just some guys
