What a beautiful day to ski Big White! Blue skies and the perfect temperature. Bryan was our tour guide on the mountain today. 
We skied all morning, enjoyed lunch on a slope side patio (eating outside and risking a sun burn!!), and then got back up the mountain and skied some more until our legs gave out. Amazing fun! At the end of the day, we all had sore muscles and big smiles. Can’t wait to come back tomorrow!
Tubing!
We headed up to Big White to get the lay of the land for tomorrow’s skiing, and to have some fun tubing down the mountain. With the late afternoon sun on the hills in the tube park, the rides were super fast!!
A Winery Visit to start
We enjoyed a leisurely first day in Kelowna with the BC Zoux. We visited Summerhill Winery and had a delicious lunch overlooking Lake Okanagan. Beautiful!
Heading to the Mountains
We landed in Kelowna and headed straight to Bryan and Lisa’s. We got to meet Ruby, the newest Heroux! Fun times await as we get to play and hang out here for the next few days.

To finish off the day, we had dinner with a lovely view of the bay and washed it down with gelato. We had a great day, and we’re all looking forward to tomorrow, when we’re going on a cruise down the fjord. Can’t wait!

“Nothing. It just waved.”

Next, we took a walk down a nearby path to admire the beautiful view. We saw wild blueberries, a sundial, and some more whales! I’ll post some more pictures later.

Today, we went to the Marine Mammal Museum. The whale exhibit was great, and it explained all sorts of whale behaviour and species! This is one of many belugas out front. Her name is Bobbie, and she was very happy to see everyone.
